From beginner to advanced, NPDA’s Senior classes have something for every dancer.
We understand the need to try classes to find their best fit before you commit, so we encourage you to come and experience our diverse range of genres in these recreational classes at Sunshine Coast’s leading dance academy with a weeks free trial.
Level 3, 4, 5 & Senior BALLET
We welcome you to come and experience our classes and meet our incredible dance family.
We train our students using the Russian Vaganova Method of Classical Ballet. We are associated with the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet’s classical ballet technique program developed by founder Christine Walsh AM
OPEN JAZZ
Senior Jazz with Bree Walker incorporates technique, skills and performance qualities to help all students develop coordination and confidence, supporting them to reach their dance goals.
OPEN HIP HOP
One of our most popular classes Hip Hop with Chloe Goudens is a fun, high energy class where Senior students learn the terminology behind movement and how the body works. Using isolations of body parts and sequencing for more complex choreography. Chloe’s class leaves the students buzzing and wanting more.
OPEN CONTEMPORARY
Our Senior Contemporary class taught by Bree Walker incorporates abstract and literal movement, working with emotion and improvisation. It allows the dancers to experiment and excel in their own movement. Students must be 13yrs or over to be in this class as of 2022
ACROBATICS
BY ABILITY
Jessica Taylor coaches students in stretching, aerials, tumbling, handsprings, and tricks. This class allows students to learn the correct way of executing skills and extending on current level while focusing on strength and flexibility. Students are building strength and flexibility.
MUSICAL THEATRE / VOCALS
Our Musical Theatre classes focuses on creating dancers with versatility to be able to sing, act and dance. A class where students discover their personality and become confident and great performers!
