 NPDA was established in 1993 when it was first called Michelle’s Dance Academy, it became Noosa Professional Dance Academy and has not stop growing since.

It is Noosa’s longest servicing and most successful dance academy not only in Noosa but the Sunshine Coast. NPDA is dedicated to creating dancers with appreciation of dance, artistry and passion from all ages.

We pride ourselves is offering quality tuition and correct training from beginner levels through to Pre-Professionals in our Full-Time Program. If your passion is dance in any age, we have a class for your needs.

NPDA nurtures a family type environment, like a home away from home for our students.
Our mission is to encourage children to experience joy and pride through dance, building their confidence, co- ordination, musicality, artistry, team spirit, self-discipline, learn about commitment to each other, making new friends and above all be the best versions of themselves.
NPDA offers classes for everyone, whether it be just for fun, fitness and recreation or for those who show an interest in a career.

NPDA students make lifelong friends here while they train and progress through their individual journey. Each student is unique and we encourage them to feel proud of their achievements and set goals so they can feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of each class. We want happy faces walking out of the studios.

The faculty strive to bring the best out of each student while allowing them to grow in dance at their own pace. We do love to correct and challenge those who want to and to also explore loads of new moves, allow students to express their emotions through the music, master new skills, interpretation and choreography of music, and feel a sense accomplishment at the end of each class. The importance of being a versatile dancer currently is more evident than ever particularly if you want a career in the industry of dance. We offer many genres, so students can achieve this goal.

In the event the student wants to get that dream job on a cruise line or ballet company they have the best foundation in dance to achieve this.
